Deputy Manager, Aerospace Sector Position:

Deputy Manager
Location: North Bangalore, India (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent

The Company: Established aerospace manufacturing firm expanding operations in Bangalore, committed to precision and high-quality production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as second-in-command for shopfloor operations; lead teams and manage priorities in the Managers absence.
• Drive optimization of assembly processes in line with aerospace standards.
• Resolve complex operational and technical issues related to machining and assembly (5-axis, CNC, VMC).
• Oversee quality control, internal audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead improvement projects to boost KPIs and reduce non-conformances.
• Mentor and develop staff through coaching and training.
• Enforce safety and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, QA, planning, and procurement.

Requirements:

• 10–12 years experience in aerospace manufacturing with substantial managerial experience.
• Deep technical knowledge of 5-axis machining, CNC, and VMC.
• Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
